{"id":12616,"date":"2011-08-08T01:25:10","date_gmt":"2011-08-08T01:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2011\/08\/08\/blast-victim-nscn-i-m-town-commander-police\/"},"modified":"2011-08-08T01:25:10","modified_gmt":"2011-08-08T01:25:10","slug":"blast-victim-nscn-i-m-town-commander-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2011\/08\/08\/blast-victim-nscn-i-m-town-commander-police\/","title":{"rendered":"Blast victim NSCN (I-M)  town commander: Police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Manipur Police revealed the fifth person, Anthony who was killed in the Sangakpham Bazar blast on August 1, was the Imphal town commander of the NSCN (I-M).<br \/>\nUpon interrogating a cadre of the NSCN (I-M) identified as Sekho Dingthoi Nelson Chiru son of late SD Waonpi Chiru of Charoi Khullen village, Churachandpur district; police said it was revealed that Anthony was the Imphal town commander of the outfit.<br \/>\nSekho was arrested by a team of Imphal West police commandos on Friday from Sangaiporou crossing along the Tidim road while conducting frisking operation based on specific information.<br \/>\nFurther, police alleged that Sekho as an active member of the NSCN (I-M), along with his brother-in-law Dijonglung @ Ajin Kamei of Sadu Khoiroi used to help NSCN (I-M) cadres extort money in Imphal town under the direction of Anthony.<\/p>\n<p>Sekho was produced before the court of Imphal West Chief Judicial Magistrate on Saturday and remanded by police for six days (till August 11). <br \/>\nHowever, police said they needed more time (remand) from the court to extract more information from Sekho about the August 1 blast and to probe into the matter thoroughly.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, protest against the August 1 continued Sunday at various places.
