The body was flown to Dimapur on Sunday accompanied by Sub. T Sangtam of the 1st Naga regiment.
\nBrig. B. Chatterjee, Station commander, 3 Corps Rangapahar along with other army officers, ADC Niuland Hotolu Swu, SDPO Niuland Khalo and EAC Dimapur Pakon Phom received the body at Dimapur airport.<\/p>\n
Rich tributes were paid at Dimapur airport where Brig. Chatterjee laid wreath on behalf of 3 Corps Rangapahar, ADC Niuland, Hotolu, on behalf of chief minister, chief secretary, additional chief Secretary & commissioner Nagaland and Deputy Commissioner Dimapur.
\nThe body was later taken to Kheto\u2019s native place, Homeland village under Niuland sub-division Dimapur for the final rites. Late Kheto Sumi son of Hoshe Sumi joined the 1st Naga Regiment on March 2008 and served till he sacrificed his life for the nation. 164 infantry BN Territorial Army (TA) Home & Hearth (H&H) also conducted a short funeral service at Dimapur airport.<\/p>\n
