Prachi Desai played the lonely and neglected wife Sakshi in \u2018Rock On\u2019. Buzz is that in its sequel her character will be revamped.<\/div>\n
She will now essay a strong pragmatic woman in \u2018Rock On 2\u2019. A Mumbai Mirror report quoted the actress as saying, \u201cShujaat, my stylist Shefali Shetty and I decided to chop off Sakshi\u2019s (her character\u2019s name) long tresses and give her a shorter hair cut in the hope that it would portray her strength on screen. It\u2019s an important role I\u2019m there from start to finish. It\u2019s a much better role than the previous one. I\u2019m not associated with the band but I\u2019m vital for the members.\u201d<\/div>\n
Prachi refuted rumours suggesting that she has a cameo role. Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, \u2018Rock On 2\u2019 has an ensemble cast of Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Shraddha Kapoor. The film has already hit the shooting floors in Shillong and is slated to release next year.<\/div>\n
