Faith Theological College (FTC) Dimapur celebrated its 2nd Freshers\u2019 Day on Saturday at the college hall with president Rotary Club Dimapur Akokla Lucy as chief guest.
\nSpeaking at the programme, Akokla Lucy acknowledged the principal, also the founder of FTC, Rev. Dr. S. Gangte for the sacrifice he made in building the institution and she further expressed hope that his sacrifices would bear fruit. <\/p>\n

She reminded the freshers that God created them for a purpose and to know that one should ask God to lead the way.
\nShe also cautioned the freshers not to be way drawn away by the present situation in society and not to break their commitment made with God. Akokla said the youth alone has the power to bring about changes in the society. <\/p>\n

She urged the freshers to work beyond Churches and to take it as a challenge in reaching out to the people who have not heard about Christ.
\nShe also said since FTC has decided to work for God, she asked the students to be God\u2019s instrument in bringing bring peace and unity to the state and world as a whole.
\nThe welcome speech was addressed by Rev. Dr. S. Gangte, and also informed that thirty four freshers have joined the college.
\nSome of the highlights of the programme included welcome song by FTC male voice and choreography by FTC girls.<\/p>\n
