Rotokha the members, after thorough deliberations unanimously reaffirmed the existing resolutions and also resolve six points.<\/div>\n<div>Nagaland Electrical Contractors\u2019 Union has reaffirmed that under no circumstances any unauthorised individual\/party shall be allowed to undertake any electrical installation work including internal wiring and re-wiring works within the state of Nagaland.<\/div>\n<div>Any contractor found lending\/giving contractor\u2019s writing pad to unauthorised individual\/party to undertake contract work shall have his\/her license cancelled as per the Nagaland Electrical Licensing Regulations- 2005, Article(9) which has also been specifically notified by the chief electrical inspector, Nagaland.<\/div>\n<div>Nagaland Electrical Contractors\u2019 Union has resolved that neither service connection nor test certificate will be provided for unauthorised work as per the Indian Electricity Rules 1956 for which an order has also been issued by the Additional Chief Engineer &amp; HoD, Directorate of Distribution &amp; Revenue, Nagaland.<\/div>\n<div>All the consumers are also informed to insist the contractor\u2019s valid license to award\/offer any electrical installation work.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>If any work is done by an unauthorised individual\/party, the union said the work shall be deemed as \u201cunauthorised work\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>In support of the Indian Electricity Rules and Acts, Government existing order, Power Department norms and the union resolution, Nagaland Electrical Contractors\u2019 Union has informed all the head of the departments and the executive authorities in the state government departments to abide strictly by the Indian electricity rules and acts to avoid any complications between the authorities and the union.<\/div>\n<div>Nagaland Electrical Contractors\u2019 Union said only the individual\/party possessing valid electrical contractor\u2019s license are the authorised person\/party to undertake electrical installation work.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nagaland Electrical Contractors\u2019 Union (NECU) held an emergency meeting on July 22 and deliberated on various important issues relating to the activities of the Union for its better functioning.&nbsp; According to a press release by its general secretary, H.S.
