Like a dance teacher or acting teacher, but not a History or Geography teacher,\u201d Alia said at a media interaction for the \u201cGirl Rising: A Global Campaign For Girls\u2019 Education in India\u201d event here. <br \/>\nThe \u201cGirl Rising\u201d event was to officially announce the India premiere of its film \u201cGirl Rising &#8211; Woh Padhegi Woh Udegi\u201d, which will be broadcast on Star plus on August 29 at 1.30 pm. The film is a collaboration between the government\u2019s \u2018Beti Bachao Beti Padhao\u2019 campaign and Star TV. It will also be released on digital platforms in both Hindi and English.<br \/>\nActresses Nandita Das, Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra and Kareena Kapoor feature in the film, which is produced by actresses Priyanka Chopra and Freida Pinto, who are the brand ambassadors of the initiative and also star in it.<br \/>\nThe film in English, directed by Academy Award nominee Richard E.
