I\u2019ll take care of our kids. You\u2019ll watch us from another spot,\u201d she tells USA Today during an emotional interview.<\/div>\n<div>Dion says she resorts to being strong in times like these, but sometimes Ang\u00e9lil \u201cneeds something more sensitive than that, more than just positivity. &nbsp;Sometimes he just wants me to enter into a different place with him.\u201d She continues, \u201cI\u2019ll say, \u2018You\u2019re scared? I understand. Talk to me about it.\u2019 And Ren\u00e9 says to me, \u2018I want to die in your arms.\u2019 OK, fine, I\u2019ll be there, you\u2019ll die in my arms.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>By her side throughout her career has been her former manager and husband, 73, who is also the person who encouraged her to return to the stage at Caesar\u2019s Palace come Aug. 27. \u201cThat first show, it will be fragile,\u201d she says. \u201cThere will be moments of emptiness, laughter, awkwardness, tearing up. But that\u2019s the point of coming back\u2014otherwise, I just release an album.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Dion also explains that her return to Sin City isn\u2019t so much for the performing as it is to show Ang\u00e9lil that she has his back. \u201cWhen you see someone who is fighting so hard, it has a big impact on you,\u201d she says. \u201cYou have two choices. You look at your husband who\u2019s very sick and you can\u2019t help, and it kills you.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Or you look at your husband that\u2019s sick and you say, \u2018I got you. I got it. I\u2019m here. It\u2019s going to be just fine.\u2019 \u201cYou can have your shaking knees at the end, but when someone you love falls and needs help, it\u2019s not time to cry,\u201d she adds. \u201cAfterwards, sure.
