Nagaland has come a long way from a single district with a vast unadministered area to being the 16th State of the Indian union, the minister said as Nagas were now marching confidently with the rest of the country on the path of progress and prosperity. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Speaking on law and order in the State, Azo said state government lauds the tireless efforts of law enforcing agencies, NGOs, tribal Hohos, civil societies, church and FNR, who he said have worked very hard to bring about reconciliation and unity amongst the Naga political groups.<br \/>\n&nbsp;Azo also said that in the health sector, the government was committed to improve health delivery system to enable each citizen to lead a healthy and productive life.<br \/>\nHe said construction of State Institute of Health and Family Welfare and four Drug Warehouse has commenced.<br \/>\nFurther, Azo appealed all the people to redouble their efforts in bringing peace and prosperity in the State. \u201cLet us together fight injustice, harassment and intimidation that many lawbreakers are trying to force upon us\u201d said Azo.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the people to lay a solid foundation of a progressive society that would rise above tribalism and petty parochialism and build a society which would pride in Naga unity and oneness and discourage division on tribal lines.<br \/>\nHighlights included cultural items presented by various troupes Chakhesang Dz\u00fcve Cultural Club, Naga United Village,Holy Cross HS Cultural troupe,Christina Memorial HSS Cultural Troupe,Narisen Lotha Cultural Club and Chekiye Women Cultural Club.<br \/>\nDignitaries present at the&nbsp; Independence Day celebration included-Dr. S.C. Jamir former Govenor Goa and Maharashtra, Khekiho Zhimomi MP (Rajya Sabha), K. Therie MLA, I. Imkong MLA, K.L.
