{"id":127678,"date":"2015-08-22T00:53:35","date_gmt":"2015-08-22T00:53:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2015\/08\/22\/vishal-dadlani-willing-to-perform-for-armed-forces-for-free\/"},"modified":"2015-08-22T00:53:35","modified_gmt":"2015-08-22T00:53:35","slug":"vishal-dadlani-willing-to-perform-for-armed-forces-for-free","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2015\/08\/22\/vishal-dadlani-willing-to-perform-for-armed-forces-for-free\/","title":{"rendered":"Vishal Dadlani willing to perform for armed forces for free"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani says if he is approached by the country\u2019s armed forces, he would happily perform without charging a single penny.<\/div>\n<div>Seeing his support for the \u2018One Rank, One Pension\u2019 scheme, one of his fans tweeted: \u201c@VishalDadlani bhai ji you should do your grand finale in IMA Indian military academy in Dehradoon\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>Dadlani, who is currently seen as one of the judges on singing reality show \u201cIndian Idol Junior\u201d, replied saying: \u201cThat\u2019s not in my hands, but this is: Whenever\/wherever the armed forces want me to perform, I\u2019ll be there for free!\u201d&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The ex-servicemen are demanding that there should be no change in the definition of OROP, the date of implementation should remain as April 1, 2014, and the base year must remain 2013-14.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>That means that all past pensioners would be brought at par with pension as existing on March 31, 2014.<\/div>\n<div>There are around 24 lakh retired servicemen in India and around 6.5 lakh widows who will benefit if OROP is implemented.<\/div>\n<div>Currently, the pension for retired personnel is based on the pay commission recommendations of the time when he or she retires.
