\nIn a press release, PSC president Hongkam D Ngonyen and joint secretary Bauhen Leinak has asked all head of the department in Longleng district to submit the detail list of employees by July 25 at its office. Failing which CSC said it will be compelled to take its \u201cown course of action\u201d against the \u201cerring department\u201d.
\nCSC pointed out that ever since the implementation of reservation policy from 1977, not a single department has so far strictly followed the policy of reservation for the Eastern Nagaland for which the employment status had never improved.
\nThe conference said that the six tribes have been deprived of its hare since the inception of the state and that it has continued for the last 50 years. It also lamented that the successive government had always taken advantage of being ignorant of Eastern people and asked whether it was the government\u2019s policy to keep Eastern Nagas engaged in agitation all the time to get their right?
\nCSC said that even after 11 years of attaining district, Longleng has been neglected by the government as most of the important departments have not been established and some existing departments were yet to be upgraded.
\nFurther, CSC has also objected to education department\u2019s statement on excess primary teachers\u2019 appointment in Longleng district saying it was done without proper verification which it said was only to deprive the people of employment.
\nThe conference said after \u201cthorough survey\u201d, it has found out that there was shortage of more than 50 primary teachers in different schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
