Superintendent of Police Tuensang, Roopa. M, on Friday stressed on the importance of quality education.
\nSpeaking on the occasion as chief guest at the 38th freshers\u2019 social of Sao Chang Government College Tuensang at town hall, Roopa said, freshers\u2019 day was the most important event for the student community. <\/p>\n

She encouraged students to produce quality result so as to compete at various levels of examination and appealed to the teachers and students to dedicate their service with \u201ctruthfulness and honesty\u201d towards the society.  <\/p>\n

During the freshers\u2019 meet, C. Kaimang Chang BA 1 and A. Kilemla Yimchungru BA 1 were adjudged Mr & Miss Freshers of the college respectively.
\nThe formal session was chaired by Chetei BA 11, prologue and presentation by C. Kelep Chang V\/P SCCSU.
\nKey note address was delivered by S. Chubasangla Principal Sao Chang Government College. 
\nSpeech on behalf of seniors was delivered by Sarina Aier BA 11, while speech on behalf of freshers\u2019 was delivered by C. Kaimang BA 1.
\nOther highlights of the programme were songs, dances and drama etc. <\/p>\n
