Singnya and Zhopra Vero,&nbsp;&nbsp; NNC\/FGN vice president of the NNC\/FGN, took part at the highest level meeting of leaders at Niathu Resort Saturday to take the process of Naga reconciliation further for the historical and political rights of the Nagas. <br \/>\nS.S.Khaplang chairman of the NSCN\/GPRN (K) was not present.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Later, addressing media convener FNR, Rev. Dr. Wati Aier disclosed that the day-long&nbsp; meeting of the top leaders, discussed on how to move forward and leave behind their past mistakes. <br \/>\nDr Wati said the leaders admitted that the past animosities among them was due to&nbsp;&nbsp; division but at Saturday\u2019s get-together, they have \u201cgenuinely\u201d forgiven each other. <\/p>\n<p>The leaders also appended their signatures asking sincere apology from all the Naga people for the wrongs committed in the past and committed themselves to work for the Naga struggle. <br \/>\nDr.Wati also disclosed that the meeting between the leaders was an \u201cintentional\u201d moment as it witnessed a willingness and eagerness on how to move forward.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br \/>\n\u201cIt was not just simply coming together for talk, but they wanted to build the future together\u201d, Dr Wati said.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>He affirmed that the long awaited confession and repentance among various factions had taken place at Saturday\u2019s&nbsp; highest level meeting\u201d. <br \/>\nOn the absence of Khaplang from today\u2019s meeting, Dr. Wati said FNR had sent invitation to Khaplang and he was not excluded but could not attend due to physical distance and&nbsp; indifferent health. <br \/>\nAsked whether someone could have represented Khaplang, Dr Wati replied that a representative was not advisable at this moment, as the meeting was billed for top leaders only.<br \/>\nOn the future plan of the FNR, Dr Wati replied that it would only act as a facilitator and that all the basic necessitates needed by them (factions) would be provided by FNR.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat kind of house are they going to build, and how many rooms they need depends on them\u201d, while FNR would provide all required materials said Dr. Wati <br \/>\nOn the possibility unification of all six groups, Dr Wati&nbsp; he replied that FNR was more concerned about reconciliation. \u201cWe are not talking about unity. There is difference between reconciliation and unity\u201d, said Dr. Wati and went on to say that unity depended&nbsp; on the factions as it was for them to decide.&nbsp; <br \/>\nMeanwhile, talking to Nagaland Post, Rev. Dr Wati said the leaders were conscious of the rampant extortion going on in Nagaland and also knew the difficulties of tackling them.
