The board also recommended grant-in-aid to Peren Valley School Jalukie and creation of additional post of sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) at Jalukie, which was put up by superintendent of police (SP) Peren. Board also asked the PWD for maintenance of road between New Peren to Ahthibung, which was neglected for many years.<\/div>\n<div>The meeting also discussed work distribution for the forthcoming Independence Day celebration.
