{"id":129025,"date":"2015-07-05T01:25:30","date_gmt":"2015-07-05T01:25:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2015\/07\/05\/euun-backs-utna\/"},"modified":"2015-07-05T01:25:30","modified_gmt":"2015-07-05T01:25:30","slug":"euun-backs-utna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2015\/07\/05\/euun-backs-utna\/","title":{"rendered":"EUUN backs UTNA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Educated Unemployed Union Nagaland (EUUN) has expressed unconditional support to the Unemployed Trained Nurses Association (UTNA) for creation of more posts and also appealed to the state government to resolve UTNA\u2019s demand as per its memorandum.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;EUUN president and general secretary while appraising the government on the upgradration and increase in the number of health centres, said that despite all the development, it wondered why the government failed to utilise the services of the trained nurses. EUUN said setting up of job orientation courses was a waste when only 17 posts were created during the entire span of 26 years. EUUN said there were more than 1000 trained nurses out of which 870 were trained by the government. Since government was aware of the situation, EUUN said equal opportunity should be given to every trained nurse.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Further, EUUN said health service and demand for services of trained nurses was increasing in accordance with the growth of population and commercial towns. It said unless services of unemployed trained nurses were utilised for the needy people, they would be deprived of the services. It said when such services were available in other states, people of Nagaland should not be deprived.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>It said the protest by UTNA was not only in their interest but also in the interest of people who efficient services in all hospitals and health centres.
