Khemprai encouraged the villagers to avail all the developmental schemes allotted to them.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He said SAGY was aimed to instill certain valves to the villages to be the model for others and unlike other schemes SAGY does not consider beneficiaries as receivers and government as doers but aims to empower the villagers to make choices and provide them with opportunities to exercises those choices.<\/div>\n<div>Khemprai lauded the village for being declared as vegetable village and also informed that the training programme was chosen on king chilli cultivation as it does not require large cultivable land and labour intensive rather high on economic packages.<\/div>\n<div>Technical Officer ICAR Asenla Walling deliberated on agro-met and also asked the villagers to register their contact number to avail necessary information from ICAR through SMS.<\/div>\n<div>At the second session AO II Veronica Yeptho elaborated on king chilli cultivation starting from nursery bed making to transplantations and harvest.<\/div>\n<div>The programme was chaired by BTT convener ATMA &amp; A.O.II Ronchamo Kikon, welcome address was delivered by VEC while vote of thanks was proposed by DPD ATMA Tonikali.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One-day district level training for farmers under Saansad Adarsh Grani Yojana (SAGY) was conducted by ATMA Dimapur on June 16at Selouphe village under Dhansiripar Block.
