The recruitment will be held at the Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Shillong on October 18 and 19. <br \/>\nThe recruitment is open for married \/ un-married male Indian candidates only. Candidates should have passed matriculation or equivalent examination. The candidates should be 18 to 27 years of age, as on September 5 [Relaxable upto 40 yrs for govt servants with 3 years of continuous service in the same line or allied cadre as per orders \/ instructions of Central Govt ].&nbsp; <br \/>\nCandidate must be in possession of a civil driving license, valid for driving both light and heavy vehicles, and an \u201cexperience certificate\u201d, certifying their&nbsp; having driven such vehicles for minimum two years.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates other than ex-servicemen, should bring along with them, the following original documents including duly attested photocopies thereof: an educational qualification certificate, signed in original by the inspector of schools; proof of date of birth; latest character certificate (i.e. issued within the preceding 6 months); \u2018caste certificate\u2019 issued by the district authorities; passport&nbsp; size photographs &#8211; 4 nos (without headgear, except in the case of sikh candidates, if any); valid driving license for light &amp; heavy vehicles;&nbsp; \u201cexperience certificate\u201d&nbsp; certifying&nbsp; the candidate having driven light and heavy vehicles for minimum&nbsp; two&nbsp; years.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Ex-Servicemen\u2019 candidates should bring along with them, the following original documents, including duly attested photocopies thereof: pension book; educational qualification certificates; character certificate issued at the time of retirement; other relevant documents issued at the time of retirement; and driving licence of light and heavy vehicle.
