In a joint statement, Jungshimanen Tzudir, general secretary, SESC and president Menyawongto said that despite numerous reminders and a month long agitation, the students found no solution to the demands. The students also demanded the directorate of Higher and Technical to intervene as the students were admitted to SETAM through state JEE, the statement said. \u201cThe students also question the dept. why the students are given seats in SETAM if there are no proper facilities\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>SESC has appealed to various NGOs, state government and parents of the students of SETAM to support the cause as \u201cthe students have lost hope\u201d.
