{"id":133977,"date":"2015-04-28T00:30:58","date_gmt":"2015-04-28T00:30:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2015\/04\/28\/atma-zbto-conducts-demo\/"},"modified":"2015-04-28T00:30:58","modified_gmt":"2015-04-28T00:30:58","slug":"atma-zbto-conducts-demo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2015\/04\/28\/atma-zbto-conducts-demo\/","title":{"rendered":"ATMA Zbto conducts demo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>ATMA Zunheboto has conducted a \u201cFarmer Scientist Interaction\u201d on April 18 at Lochimi village where the Deputy Project Director, Tokato Zhimomi, and the Agriculture Officer, Lutovi, interacted with different women SHG representatives on various topics related agriculture within the area.<\/div>\n<div>They deliberated on SHGs functioning, importance of women in agriculture, crop management and packages of practices, government scheme availability and process in accessing them and seeds were also distributed to the SHGs.<\/div>\n<div>ATMA Zunheboto also conducted a field day on bio-fertilizers at Newland village on April 20 wherein the importance of integrated nutrient management (INM) and judicious use of chemical fertilizers were highlighted by Tokato Zhimomi. The farmers were encouraged and emphasized to utilize bio-fertilizers, FYM, vermin compost etc. in order to maintain soil health and bio-diversity.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The field day concluded with distribution of bio-fertilizers and practical demo of its application methods.<\/div>\n<div>Demo on green manuring was organized at one Khekiye\u2019s (farmer) field in Yezhami village on April 21 where Soil Department SO and BTT convenor, Vishto Assumi, demonstrated on methods of green manuring.
