Balgopal from further spreading \u201crumour\u201d for the purpose of damaging the career of advocate Edward Belho, the state\u2019s standing counsel in the Supreme Court. <\/p>\n<p>The organization has also supported the stand of its parent body CAKU over the issue of the AG\u2019s alleged \u201cmanipulation\u201d against Belho who was a \u201cloyal government servant\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, CAKYO president Thejangulie Angami said Belho was a competent lawyer and he was also well known for his honesty and efficiency. <\/p>\n<p>Stating that Belho enjoyed the full confidence of the state government, CAKYO expressed dismay over the AG\u2019s \u201cdreadful plan\u201d to remove Belho from the current post. CAKYO called upon all Naga intellectuals, NGOs and tribal hohos to cut across tribal lines and condemn such an \u201cirresponsible\u201d move by the AG.<\/p>\n<p>CAKYO also alleged that the AG had failed to protect and preserve the traditional rights of the Nagas under Article 371 (A) of the constitution. <\/p>\n<p>CAKYO warned that any attempts to \u201csell any Naga tribal rights\u201d for personal gain would only invite unwanted situation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chakhro Angami Kuda Youth Organization (CAKYO) has cautioned Nagaland advocate general (AG) K.N.
