The three-day camp included basic training in martial arts, trekking, music, movie shows, photography, and recreational activities. <\/p>\n<p>Around 50 participants were divided into three age-groups. The children participated in various extra-curricular activities, designed to inculcate in them the importance of interpersonal skills, communication ability, hygiene, physical activity, self-defence, music and dancing.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers said camp\u2019s success was due to the dynamic leadership of the vice-chancellor Prof. B.K. Konwar, as well as the support extended by various stakeholders of the University such as sports section, health centre, transport section, student volunteers, officers, staff, and parents. <\/p>\n<p>Nagaland University School Management Committee members include Dr. Upasana Bora Sinha, Dr. Baljit Singh, Dr. Wangshimenla, Monalisa Tase, Yanrenthung Ezung, and Peter Ki.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nagaland University School Management Committee for the first time organized \u2018Children\u2019s Summer Camp\u2019 from August 9 to 11 at Nagaland University, headquarters Lumami.
