At the age of 16, doctors had pronounced him 6 months to live. Born with asthma, he was on wrong medication from the age of 2-16 which resulted in 60% damage to his lungs and his immune system broke down. Fate has it that at the age of 12, he was hit by a javelin that damaged his spinal cord.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Dr. Benny narrated that he was looked down as \u2018scum of the family\u2019 as he failed the expectation of his family and society to follow the footstep of his father, who was an aero space scientist. Dr. Benny said he contemplated suicide at the age of 16 as he was considered shame and curse for the family.<\/div>\n<div>It was at the lowest point of his life when heard the voice of Jesus saying, \u201cBenny even if you are called useless by the society I still need you. I can transform your life and make you a new person.\u201d A transformation took place in his life at the age of 16, when he gave his life to the Lord.<\/div>\n<div>Dr. Benny shared with the congregation of DLBC stating Christian life as the most adventurous life. \u201cWhen God can pick an ordinary person like me and create history out of my life, God wants to create history out of so many Naga\u2019s lives,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div>During the church service, Dr. Benny enthralled the congregation with the world\u2019s first 20 strings Bongo Harp Guitar designed by him with which he performed at the 2004 Olympic Games at Greece. He also rendered melodious songs with a pan flute brought from Romania.<\/div>\n<div>Dr. Benny Prasad would be at Dimapur till March 17 and scheduled to visit different Bible Colleges and Churches to share his testimony of hope and transformation.
