Rahman found its way inside the White House in Washington through a special screening of \u201cJai Ho\u201d, a documentary on his work.<\/div>\n<div>The 60-minute documentary was screened on Friday.<\/div>\n<div>The \u201cMozart of Madras\u201d, who has hit the right notes with each of his compositions with examples like \u201cO rey chhori\u201d and \u201cTum tak\u201d, became a part of the special moment.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cOn the way to the White House for a screening of \u2018Jai Ho\u2019,\u201d Rahman tweeted on Friday night as per Indian Standard Time. Directed by Umesh Aggarwal, the film celebrates Rahman\u2019s achievements through his career, which spans two decades.<\/div>\n<div>Considered one of the world\u2019s most influential people by Time magazine, the music maestro\u2019s work includes over 120 film scores worldwide. Rahman is a name to reckon in the international circuit and has also done India proud by getting two Oscars for his music in \u201cSlumdog Millionaire\u201d in 2009 -Best Original Music Score and Best Original Song, which he shares with lyricist Gulzar.<\/div>\n<div>The documentary explores the evolution of his style of music \u2014 a fusion of eastern sensibilities and western technology.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A detailed account on musical influences of double Oscar-winning composer A.R.
