Filmmakers Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz are reteaming with their \u201cThe Last Samurai\u201d star Tom Cruise to tackle a \u201cJack Reacher\u201d sequel.<\/div>\n
Zwick and Herskovitz are in talks to write the new script, which will be based on the book \u201cNever Go Back\u201d, with Zwick to sit in the director\u2019s chair. The veteran director is known for movies such as \u201cBlood Diamond\u201d, \u201cLegends of the Fall\u201d and Glory\u201d. The new instalment will continue the adventures of a former military police officer, who helps people out, said The Hollywood Reporter.<\/div>\n
\u201cReacher\u201d is an adaptation of a line of books by Lee Child, and the first instalment proved to be a sleeper hit, when it was released December 2012.
