MLA 51 A\/C Noksen, H. Chuba Chang on Monday stressed on the importance of education and urged the student community to pursue \u201cquality education\u201d in order to compete at higher academic level. <\/p>\n
Speaking as chief guest, at the 39th fresher\u2019s social meet of Sao Chang Government College at Town hall Tuensang, Chuba Chang, lauded the pioneer late Sao Chang for his immense excellent contribution in the field of education for the people of the rural area. <\/p>\n
He also encouraged students to pursue their srudies with dedication, sincerity and commitment in order to bring laurels to their institution. <\/p>\n
The chief guest also appreciated the faculty members, teaching staff for their effort and contribution towards the students.<\/p>\n
Dr. Thanghoi Dy. CMO Tuensang, speaking as the guest of honour, urged students to know their duties and responsibility. <\/p>\n
Lt. Col. Ravindra Kumar 164th Naga TA was invited as the special guest at the programme. The programme was chaired by Tangmong Khiam AGS, while invocation was pronounced by Bendangla, asst. professor political science, welcome address by Nato. Y. Chang general secretary. <\/p>\n
Principal SCC also exhorted the students. Special number was presented by Sepongla Sangtam, speech on behalf of the fresher by Imnaenla BA-1, while Mongba Chang BA-2 presented a guitar recital. <\/p>\n
Vote of thanks was proposed by Liremla Sangtam and benediction by Yungmei Phom BA-3.
\nDuring the programme, meritorious students were also felicitated by the convener award committee SCC. <\/p>\n
