\nSpeaking at pre-recruitment test, 31 Assam Rifles Longleng Post Commander, Major Mahish, said that the Assam Rifles in all the districts of the state decided to conduct pre-recruitment test to the aspiring young people of the state to impart partial basic courses for a month in respective camps of the state.
\nHe said pre-recruitment basic courses has been organized to train the aspiring candidates on short courses comprising of physical exercise like long distance run, long jump, high jump, sit-up, chin-up, push-up, Tarzan swing, written test etc. He also said the pre-recruitment test which is conducting in all the districts by the Assam Rifles is to compete in the forthcoming Indian Army Recruitment scheduled from February 24 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
\nPresident of Phom People\u2019s Council, H Leisha Phom, and the general secretary if Phom Students\u2019 Conference, A Mane Phom, have thanked the 31 Assam Rifles for taking up the tasks for the welfare of the young people of the district in spite of heavy duties. The two leaders also urged the 31 Assam Rifles to carry on such initiatives even in the days to come.
\nThe pre-recruitment test was conducted by the 31 Assam Rifles, a Triple Citation Unit Headquarter, Mokokchung, under the aegis of 7th Sector IGAR Tuensang. Altogether 21 aspiring candidates from Longleng district would compete in the forthcoming Indian Army recruitment in Kohima.
