He has also encouraged the two communities to be the torch bearers towards brotherhood among all Nagas.
Singson said that it is a responsibility of every Naga to play a vital role in bringing one another together, stating that if Nagas are united it would have the respect of other people no matter how small our nation is. Stating that as a nation Nagas have a history of their own, he said we are at present enjoying the fruits of the sweat shed by our forefathers. He, therefore, said the present Naga leaders should also have a vision to create another history of oneness for the future generation.
Singson urged the gathering to practice the art of ‘forgive and forget’ which should be a conclusive effort, adding this would benefit every Naga no matter how bitter the past might be. He said learning to forgive each other should be a vision for every Nagas instead of self justification as self justification would bring nothing but only result in self destruction. Singson urged the gathering to be firm in one’s stance on Naga sovereignty… that the past Naga leaders had one vision and that was to bring every Naga under one platform to strengthen the Naga cause. He said they knew that a unified Naga was stronger than a divided one.
The Convener NPAC also added that people were fed-up of divisions and group and encouraged everyone to strive for unity
Others who spoke at the inaugural function included the president of the Konyak Union, president of Konyak Students’ union, president of Phom Students’ Union, president of Mon District Chambers and Commerce. Other highlights of the programme included invocation by Rev. Nuklu Phom of the PBC, special songs by David Konyak and the male voice from Monyakshyu and a Konyak cultural dance.

GPRN/NSCN has inaugurated its designated camp at Apao village under Aboi sub-division in Mon district by C Singson, Convener NPAC, in the presence of its senior officers from military and civil set-up along with hosts of public leaders on February 6.
