Rio also urged the school to encourage students to partake in sports as it would enhance the spirit of working together with discipline and competitiveness.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br \/>\nThe MP also lauded the Catholic institutions for providing quality education besides guidance. He then encouraged the school authority to upgrade into full fledged college with the support of state government and parents.<br \/>\nParliamentary secretary for school education Yitachu also asked the school to retrospect and also plan for the future. He lauded the students for showcasing various activities during the celebration.<br \/>\nStressing on equal priority to both girl and boy child, Yitachu was of the view that Naga customary system require changes so that a girl could also inherit immovable property of the parents. He also said that both the child should be equally educated.<br \/>\nHe lamented the practice wherein girl education was taken as secondary and a girl child is made to compromise her studies, though brilliant, so that a boy could pursue his.<br \/>\nThe parliamentary secretary further announced that from 2015 the government would introduce a system for compulsory and regular attendance of the primary teachers in the school for producing quality education.<br \/>\nMost Reverend Dr. James Thoppil Bishop of Kohima also delivered jubilee message.
