Her figure is slender perfection so Miranda Kerr understandably indulged in a few treats while she was pregnant with baby Flynn.
\nBut she has revealed that her grandmother warned her to stop eating so much during her pregnancy if she didn\u2019t want a big baby.
\n\u2018I put on 40 pounds, but I wasn\u2019t fazed,\u2019 she told the Sydney Morning Herald.
\n\u2018I was eating so much and my grandma was like, \u201cLove, you had better stop eating. You\u2019re going to make a big baby and I don\u2019t know how you are going to push it out.\u201d
\n\u2018I was like, \u201cNan, it\u2019s fine,\u201d but she was the only one who knew.\u2019
\nThe Victoria\u2019s Secret model and her husband Orlando Bloom, 34, welcomed their first child Flynn – who weighed almost 10 lbs – into the world in January.
\nMiranda opted for a natural birth but it was so gruelling that she wishes she had listened to her grandmother\u2019s wise words.
\nMiranda, who fulfilling work obligations in her home city, also praised her Lord of the Rings star husband for being a \u2018hands on\u2019 father.
\n\u2018Orlando\u2019s amazing. He is so supportive and he is incredible with Flynn, and he is really helpful and very hands-on. He does it all.
\n\u2018When I\u2019m working, because I\u2019m breastfeeding, I pump and then I put the bottles in the freezer and he feeds the baby and that way he has a good bonding experience, too.\u2019
\nShe added: \u2018It\u2019s just the best thing I have ever done. To have children was one of the main things I\u2019ve wanted to do in my life, and it really was better than I ever thought it would be. I\u2019m really lucky because I have a good-natured boy.\u2019
\nMiranda and Flynn jetted into Sydney last month before being joined by Orlando.
\nMiranda has returned to her home-town to help announce the addition of 60 new Australian and International brands, including the likes of Victoria Beckham and the Kardashian Kollection to its department stores.
\nThis is Flynn\u2019s first trip to Australia to meet all his extended family.
\nSpeaking to the Australian Associated Press, Miranda said she was excited for her son to see Australia for the first time.
\nShe added that her son was proving to be a terrible flirt, even at such a young age and said: \u2018He\u2019s got a really good nature, he\u2019s very warm and engaging and he\u2019s a little flirt.\u2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
