Heather has been accused of hacking into McCartney\u2019s phones.<\/div>\n

Piers Morgan has hit back at reports that he was instrumental in Sir Paul McCartney\u2019s phone tapping, and claimed that the singer\u2019s ex-wife Heather Millers was behind the deed. Sir Paul McCartney spoke out after Millers accused a Mirror Group journalist of tapping her voicemails from him.<\/p>\n

However, Morgan, 46, who was the editor of the Daily Mirror at the time, has denied the claims and slammed Mills, 43, claiming that she has just been trying to ward off attention away from her own mischievous activities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Heather Mills poked her head above the parapet, the whole thing got completely ridiculous,\u201d the Daily Star quoted Morgan as saying.
\n\u201cPaul McCartney is apparently claiming someone hacked his phone. I suspect it was Heather because, if you study the divorce papers, Paul accused Heather then of hacking into his phones and passing information to the papers. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo I suspect what she was doing was hiding herself from the whole thing.
\n\u201cHeather Mills is not the best person to be throwing any dynamite at anyone on this,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
