{"id":144876,"date":"2012-09-30T18:43:59","date_gmt":"2012-09-30T18:43:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2012\/09\/30\/seminar-on-strengthening-youth\/"},"modified":"2012-09-30T18:43:59","modified_gmt":"2012-09-30T18:43:59","slug":"seminar-on-strengthening-youth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2012\/09\/30\/seminar-on-strengthening-youth\/","title":{"rendered":"Seminar on strengthening youth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/WXOETYWDINLICRZPEXZF.jpg>A one-day seminar was jointly organized by 26 Aonglenden constituency ACYC Arkong, Dilong, Sangtemla and Marepkong units at Longkumer Kilem, Mokokchung on the theme \u201cTekumkum Lanur II\u2019, with Akok Walling, associate professor Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung and Dr. Panger, lecturer Clark Theological College, Aolijen as resource persons.<\/p>\n<p>Associate professor, Akok Walling speaking on \u2018Tekumkum Lanur\u2019 (strengthened youth) said that a leader needed to be focused and called on the leaders to be a \u201cproductive agents and not a consuming ends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also urged the area leaders to master the \u201cart of restrain.\u201d Dr. Panger, Lecturer at Clark Theological College, Aolijen spoke on the topic, \u2018The duty of a youth in the present context\u2019. <\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cpolitical arena is one of the most effective means a youth can be involved in, because it is the apparatus or the decision making agent of the public\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>However, he added that corruption has totally taken over it, in the midst of the leadership and civilizational crisis. According to Panger, a void has been created by theNaga cultural, religious and modern state system trying to overlap each other. <\/p>\n<p>The programme was chaired by Aongsen and the discussion was led by Tongpangyanger. While vote of thanks was proposed by A.
