Mero, in his address lauded the initiative taken by NPCSD and said that many organizations and unions visited the hospital but the day\u2019s visit by a political party was first in the history of the hospital. <\/p>\n<p>Citing an example of sunflower which follows the direction of sunlight, Dr. Mero said that as a government run hospital whichever the political party comes to power, the line of duty has to be performed but the visitation of the hospital by an opposition was a \u201cbeautiful thought\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He further hoped that other political parties would also inculcate the example of NPCSD by visiting the district hospital in near future.<\/p>\n<p>Also highlighting about the party\u2019s programmes, one of the organizers, Az\u00fcngla Imsong, talking to Nagaland Post before the distribution programme said that every year they visit jails and institutions but the day\u2019s visit to the hospital was first of its kind in the party\u2019s documentation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nagaland Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (NPCSD) as part of their humanitarian gesture on Tuesday visited District Hospital Dimapur (DHD) on the occasion of 143rd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
