{"id":145382,"date":"2012-09-29T00:34:55","date_gmt":"2012-09-29T00:34:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2012\/09\/29\/nscn-k-condemns-killing-of-minor-in-zunheboto-2\/"},"modified":"2012-09-29T00:34:55","modified_gmt":"2012-09-29T00:34:55","slug":"nscn-k-condemns-killing-of-minor-in-zunheboto-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2012\/09\/29\/nscn-k-condemns-killing-of-minor-in-zunheboto-2\/","title":{"rendered":"NSCN (K) condemns killing of minor in Zunheboto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>NSCN (K) has condemned Friday\u2019s incident at Zunheboto where it said \u201ca one year old minor boy was killed by bullet wounds inflicted on him allegedly by GPRN\/NSCN cadres\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>NSCN (K) MIP while expressing shock over the incident blamed the paramilitary forces particularly Assam Rifles (AR) for the incident stating that the same occurred due to the \u201cfree movement\u201d allowed to GPRN\/NSCN cadres in Zunheboto and elsewhere in Nagaland.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that AR had virtually given freedom to move around freely with arms, MIP also said that it should own responsibility for the Friday incident as \u201cGPRN\/NSCN has been given protection and shelter by the paramilitary forces\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>MIP stated that NSCN (K) cadres have been left \u201cdefenceless\u201d against \u201cKhehoi renegades\u201d without arms and further cited an instance where three of its cadres were apprehended by AR without arms and handed over to police.<\/p>\n<p>NSCN (K) MIP also said that the \u201creckless and lack of discipline\u201d exhibited by GPRN\/NSCN cadres have led to the unfortunate incident adding that it was one among many others including the \u201cAghunato and Thilixu incidents\u201d where civilians bore the brunt of the \u201cerrant\u201d GPRN\/NSCN cadres. <\/p>\n<p>MIP said the NSCN (K) has now left the matter to NGOs and the Nagas in general to ponder over the matter and judge for themselves whether the act was \u201caccidental or intentional\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>NSCN (K) while condemning the incident also offered condolence to the family of the deceased minor and prayed that God Almighty grant solace to the family of the deceased.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NSCN (K) has condemned Friday\u2019s incident at Zunheboto where it said \u201ca one year old minor boy was killed by bullet wounds inflicted on him allegedly by GPRN\/NSCN cadres\u201d.
