{"id":145725,"date":"2014-11-27T01:15:17","date_gmt":"2014-11-27T01:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2014\/11\/27\/acaut-nagaland-exposes-tax-deduction-threat-by-dic-dmu\/"},"modified":"2014-11-27T01:15:17","modified_gmt":"2014-11-27T01:15:17","slug":"acaut-nagaland-exposes-tax-deduction-threat-by-dic-dmu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2014\/11\/27\/acaut-nagaland-exposes-tax-deduction-threat-by-dic-dmu\/","title":{"rendered":"ACAUT Nagaland exposes tax deduction threat by DIC Dmu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #ff0000;\">Erring officer(s) be dismissed immediately &#8211; ACAUT &#8211;<\/span><br \/>\nDrawing the attention of the state Chief Secretary, ACAUT Nagaland co-convenor Joel Nillo Kath and secretary Zhelie Chuzho, have alleged that&nbsp; government servants drawing salary from the state government and who have sworn to loyally serve the state were threatening their subordinates with exposure for non-compliance in deduction of 24% tax on salary to be paid to Naga Political Groups (NPGs).<br \/>\nIn this regard, ACAUT Nagaland maintained, that despite being aware why no deduction of salary of state employees for NPGs should be allowed as it was illegal; some top official(s) of the District Industries Centre (DIC) Dimapur again threatened employees that names and addresses of those not willing to deduct 24% of salary for NPGs\/undergrounds, would be handed over to the \u201cundergrounds to be dealt by them\u201d.<br \/>\nTerming the action as \u201ca most shocking episode\u201d ACAUT has demanded, that the erring officer(s) be \u201cdismissed from service immediately and booked under relevant sections of the law for extortion\u201d.
