{"id":146302,"date":"2014-10-25T00:53:53","date_gmt":"2014-10-25T00:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2014\/10\/25\/fear-of-god-should-be-supreme-in-life-yitachu\/"},"modified":"2014-10-25T00:53:53","modified_gmt":"2014-10-25T00:53:53","slug":"fear-of-god-should-be-supreme-in-life-yitachu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2014\/10\/25\/fear-of-god-should-be-supreme-in-life-yitachu\/","title":{"rendered":"Fear of God should be supreme in life :Yitachu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/YKCTCCTKMPEPATJARGBD.jpg>Parliamentary secretary school education Yitachu said fear could be either positive or negative that influence the minds and feelings where citizens of society governed by manmade laws, guidelines and conditions but reiterated that fear of God was supreme. <br \/>\nAddressing around 6000 students as chief guest at the inaugural of the three-day Students\u2019 Spiritual Conference here at the Agri-Expo, Yitachu urged upon students to first and foremost, cultivate the fear of the God, so that nothing went wrong in their lives.<br \/>\nHe also said that principle guideline of truthfulness was to make society a better place to live in and expressed optimism that the conference would witness a great awakening for bringing about positive change in Naga society and Nagas as a whole. <br \/>\nDeliberating on Nagas society, which he said Nagas have been blessed as Christians comprising of various denominations who make up 80% of the state\u2019s population. <br \/>\n&nbsp;He called upon the gathering to be Christians in workplace and beyond church activities so that Nagas would witness a community with purpose. \u201cWe need a realization that should come at young age and which should start from within,\u201d Yitachu said.<br \/>\nYitachu reminded that unless every individual came forward, nobody would help transform society. In this regard, he lamented that Naga society has become dependent with no one willing to contribute anything for society. He said a society that seeks changes did not exist that way. <br \/>\nThe three-day Students\u2019 Spiritual Conference is one of its kind in Nagaland, where students from across the state would be attending the three-day programme. On Friday, around 6000 school and college students from over 70 institutions attended the inaugural session.<br \/>\nState Chaplain under NBCC, Rev.K.Luruo-o hoisted the conference flag and invoke God\u2019s blessings on the conference. Welcome address was delivered by W Y Kithan, introductory note by convener, organizing committee, Ahoto Andrew; choral presentation by Patkai Christian college and government HSS followed by the first session. <br \/>\nIt may be noted that the conference was organized by likeminded people from various walks including Church leaders, student leaders, public leaders, government officers, teachers and school heads, businessmen supported by All Nagaland Private School Association (ANPSA), Dimapur Naga Students\u2019 Union (DNSU), Diphupar village council and Diphupar Naga Students\u2019 Union (DNSU), joint Christian forum and various pastors\u2019 fellowships etc from Chumukedima till Nagaland gate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parliamentary secretary school education Yitachu said fear could be either positive or negative that influence the minds and feelings where citizens of society governed by manmade laws, guidelines and conditions but reiterated that fear of God was supreme.
