Personnel of women cell, Dimapur, on Thursday arrested a non-Naga identified as one Zaheer Islam, son of Md. Ali of Pattarkati, Karimganj, Assam, and a resident of Lane-4, Kuda village, Dimapur, for allegedly molesting a 9-year old minor girl. According to women cell, the minor was sent to the shop of the accused to buy a top-up (recharge card) and in the process, the accused took her inside the shop and molested her. A customer saw the incident and alarmed passers-by. The accused was trashed by the public and later handed over to police.
