Guitarist Lindsey Buckingham has confirmed Fleetwood Mac\u2019s new album and upcoming tour will be their last.\nThe news has been confirmed by the band\u2019s guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, who revealed that the group will cease to make music together in 2015 or soon afterwards.
\nHe said: \u2018\u2019We\u2019re going to continue working on the new album, and the solo stuff will take a back seat for a year or two. A beautiful way to wrap up this last act.\u2019\u2019
\nThe group\u2019s original keyboardist and songwriter Christine McVie returned to the fold in 2014 and Lindsey was delighted by her return.
\nHe said: \u2018\u2019She gave me a bunch of stuff to take home. I worked on it, came back, and she loved it. We went into the studio and came out with the best songs we\u2019ve co-written in years.
\n\u2018\u2019Christine really fills the gap of the polarity that might exist otherwise, and helps things breathe.\u2019\u2019
\nHe does, however, admit to being initially sceptical about Christine\u2019s return.
