The iconic singer, however, upset fans when she took it a step further and began altering the famous faces of world leaders like civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. and former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela.\n\u201cThis #rebelheart had a dream!\u201d the \u201cLike a Virgin\u201d songstress captioned a Photoshopped image of MLK Jr. on Friday (January 2), replicating her album cover, which features her face tied with black rope. \u201cThis #rebelheart fought for freedom!\u201d she wrote alongside Mandela\u2019s image.
\nCommenters fired back at Madge, writing, \u201cThis is pure stupidity,\u201d and \u201cGrow up Madonna,\u201d while others blatantly questioned the singer with: \u201cBitch what the f\u2014k?\u201d
