Naomi Watts wants her portrayal of the much-loved Princess Diana to be just right in her new flick. The movie \u2018Diana\u2019 is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel and stars British actor Naveen Andrews as Dr Hasnat Khan and Watts as the British royal.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am dreading the reaction amongst the pubic to my playing her. You know that people will complain that you don\u2019t look enough like her, that you\u2019re not tall enough, all those things,\u201d the Sun quoted her as saying,<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s very difficult to play someone who had such a deep impact and left such a lasting memory on the public. Our memory of her is still very fresh and you have to be respectful of that\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s also more complicated and sensitive when you take into account her two boys – William and Harry. But I want to do her justice and help tell her story truthfully,\u201d she said. The film focuses on the years leading up to Diana\u2019s tragic death, aged just 36.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was shooting a movie in Canada when she died,\u201d she said.
\n\u201cI was in a room full of people watching the news about Diana\u2019s death and we were all crying and deeply upset. \u201cIt\u2019s one of those events you never forget,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
