Semersongla, contestant no. 9 was crowned Miss Mokokchung 2012 at a glittering program on Tuesday.
\nDuring the final round, Semersongla when asked by the judges as to what was the one thing that she wanted to change in the state said she would want to wipe out vices like misconception, violence and bloodshed from the Naga society so that love, peace and understanding prevails in the state. <\/p>\n
Toshipokba MLA was the chief guest. The twelve contestants were judged on three rounds – ethnic, designer and evening wear. <\/p>\n
From the twelve, eight were shortlisted in the third round out of which five were selected for the final round.
\nImlibenla contestant no. 4 and Kikayangla contestant no. 5 bagged the 1st runners up and 2nd runners up title respectively. <\/p>\n
