Chad Kroeger appears to have been amused by the rumours that he has split up with wife Avril Lavigne or that their marriage was on the rocks.\nThe Nickelback star, who sparked rumours of a break when he didn\u2019t attend Avril\u2019s 30 birthday party in September, has said that they are still together, but that even his parents were worried about them.
\nTalking to ET Canada, the 39-year-old rocker laughed off the rumours as he said: \u201cYou know my dad calls me up and he\u2019s just like, \u2018I haven\u2019t slept in two days, what\u2019s going on?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Dad you\u2019re not buying all this c**p are you?\u2019 You know, I get to hear all the rumour mill stuff. So it\u2019s, it\u2019s…I find it very amusing.\u201d
\nChad, who was pictured without his wedding band in Los Angeles recently, can\u2019t believe that people still feel that the lack of a ring is a serious indicator as to the status of a marriage.
\nYes, he\u2019s seriously baffled.

\nChad, who tied the knot with the Canadian star in July 2013, feels that it\u2019s like high school all over again with the rumour mill about their relationship.
