\nHe shared that factoid with a magazine around that time. Jennifer Love Hewitt saw it and took pity. She told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night that she bought Damon an air mattress and had it shipped to him in Paris where he was filming so that he\u2019d always have a \u201csafe place\u201d (metaphorically speaking).
\n\u201cI was reading an article and he said this really sad thing about how all his dreams were coming true but he didn\u2019t feel that he had a bed of his own, he was always traveling,\u201d Hewitt recalled.
\n\u201cI remember being really busy also and thinking that\u2019s so sad, to have all your dreams come true but not have a solid foundation. So for some reason, I though an aerobed would help that for him,\u201d she said.
\nA lovely gesture from one young actor to another, but, according to Hewitt, one that she was not thanked for. More than 15 years later, she says she\u2019s still waiting for a proper gracias. \u201cIt made me sad. I understand maybe his security never gave it to him, that\u2019s a possibility,\u201d she told Kimmel.
