Deputy commissioners and returning officer Kohima, W. Honje Konyak has notified all the assembly constituencies under Kohima district- 8 Western Angami, 9 Kohima town, 10 Northern Angami-I, 11 Northern Angami-II, 12 Tseminyu, 14 Southern Angami-I and 15 Southern Angami-II on the forthcoming elections to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.<\/p>\n
DC informed that nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or by any of his proposers to the returning officer, Kohima at the office of the DC & Returning Officer Kohima between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on any day (other than public holiday) not later than February 6. <\/p>\n
\nForms of nomination papers may be obtained at the place and time aforesaid.
\nThe nomination papers would be taken up for scrutiny on February 7 at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n
Notice of withdrawal of the candidatures may be delivered either by a candidate or by any of his proposers or by his election agent who has been authorized in writing by the candidate to deliver it to the returning officer before 3 p.m. on February 9, and in the event of the election being contested, the poll would be taken on February 23 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m, stated an official bulletin.<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, deputy commissioner and returning officer Mokokchung, Murohu Chotso has informed that nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or any of his proposer to the Returning Officer or Chubawati Chang, ADC & Assistant Returning Officer at DC office between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on any day (other than public holiday) not later than February 6. Forms of nomination papers may be obtained at the place and times aforesaid.<\/p>\n
\nNomination papers would be taken up for scrutiny at 11 a.m. on February 7 at DC\u2019s office AC-wise starting from 21 Tuli AC ending at 30-Alongtaki AC.<\/p>\n
