The Resource persons were Mrs. Bendangla Imsong, Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Breeding) and Ms. Jessica Dohtong, Prog. Asstt (Home Science), KVK (ICAR), Wokha. Topics on \u201cRegistration of plant varieties and farmers\u2019 right act,\u201d \u201cThe importance of preservation and processing of locally cultivated fruits and vegetables for self income generation\u201d respectively were presented by the resource persons.<\/div>\n<div>The programme was chaired by Pithungo Tungoe, Agriculture Officer. Methods of banana, potato chips, mamanti (local cherry) jam, squash, chilli pickle making were demonstrated to the participants. The participants took active part in making the same.
