Altogether, 6 accused persons were arrested along with 257 bottles of assorted liquor. <\/p>\n<p>In another effort, the excise duty personnel of the Peren and Jalukie conducted MVCP duty at Jalukie on January 29 and 30 arrested 2 accused persons along with the vehicle (Tata Sumo) bearing Reg no. NL 06T 0353 and recovered 120 bottles of beer, 36 bottles of rum and 48 bottles of whisky.<\/p>\n<p>Superintendent of excise and prohibition, Dimapur, Lanuwati Jamir assured that the district excise personnel would continue to conduct such strict checking especially during the whole election period.
