The programme was aimed at highlighting the key functions of SJPU.<br \/>\nAt the programme, additional superintendent of police Kohima, Igwangheing Hemang delivered short speech about the scenario of juveniles in Nagaland. <br \/>\nDuring the session, principal magistrate, Kohima Mezivolu T. Theriah, who was the resource person, gave introduction on child rights and explained the implications of child rights. <br \/>\nThe programme followed interactive skit by NSLSA panel member Alemwapang Ao and Mezivolu T. Theriah highlighting the steps that should be taken during a case of juvenile offenders in case of rape of a minor. Legal cum probation officer, Kohima Megoneituo Kielienyu highlighted the roles and responsibilities of SJPU.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Registrar in Guwahati high court Kohima branch and member secretary (NSLSA) Mayang Lima spoke on legal literacy and awareness of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2000, as well as on the topic of children in need of care and protection. <br \/>\nSCPS director Khehoto Sema also spoke on the topic of monitoring mechanism for juvenile justice system.
