{"id":15293,"date":"2018-07-12T23:28:44","date_gmt":"2018-07-12T23:28:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/07\/12\/sensitization-program-on-icbf-held-in-kma\/"},"modified":"2018-07-12T23:28:44","modified_gmt":"2018-07-12T23:28:44","slug":"sensitization-program-on-icbf-held-in-kma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/07\/12\/sensitization-program-on-icbf-held-in-kma\/","title":{"rendered":"Sensitization program on ICBF held in Kma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/PKGHNEZRIFEHYGMCSAQN.jpg><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, continuing its efforts to train officials on Integrated Capacity Building Framework (ICBF), conducted a sensitization program at the Directorate of Urban Development, Kohima, from July 4 to 6.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">According to DIPR, the program was conducted under the flagship of SUDA (State Urban Development Agency), imparted by RCUES (Regional Centre for Urban and Environment Studies), Hyderabad and sponsored by Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">S. Takatuba. Aier, mission director, NULM, additional director UD &amp; secretary, SUDA, kicked off the three day sensitization program with a welcome speech.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Five resource persons from RCUES interacted with the trainees and imparted them with knowledge on technical functionaries.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The chief guest for the program was Yanpvuthung Kikon, mission director, PMAY-HFA(U) &amp; joint secretary to the government of Nagaland.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">On the first day of the sensitization program the resource persons conducted an overview of Swachh Bharat Mission on water sanitation and solid waste management, urban challenges\/Governance-key to success, role of technical functionaries-Management Strategies, Appropriate technologies for small and medium cities, reforms in Urban Development, implementation and accountability through E Governance and context of ICBT and support by the MOHUA.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">On day two, the following topics were discussed &#8212; DAY- NULM, social mobilization and institution Development (SM&amp;ID): Improving livelihood, Employment through skill training and placement, Self employment program, support to street vendors and MIS overview on SEP and EST&amp;P and overview of PMAY Scheme and its components.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The third day of the program covered MIS of SEP and EST&amp;P and Training Need Assessment (TNA) and ended with a valedictory session.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The participants under Directorate of Urban Development- Mission Directors of different Urban Missions, Districts Urban officers i\/c of District HQ ULBs, State Mission Managers, City Mission Managers, Community Organisers &amp; other NGO\u2019s and functionaries under DAY-NULM; Municipal Affair, PHED, KMC, responded with great feedback and a vote of thanks was given by RCUES- Hyderabad to State Mission Director, NULM, Directorate of Urban Development.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, continuing its efforts to train officials on Integrated Capacity Building Framework (ICBF), conducted a sensitization program at the Directorate of Urban Development, Kohima, from July 4 to 6.
