Kate turns soldiers\u2019 heads as she joins Wills and Harry at the Commonwealth Games to watch the athletics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/ASSJTAIGDATLDBGSBGYJ.jpg>The Duchess of Cambridge turned the heads of soldiers as she and Prince William arrived to enjoy a second day of sporting action at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this afternoon. <br \/>\nPrince William, his wife Kate and Prince Harry enjoyed a whistle-stop tour of the Games venues yesterday, watching gymnastics, boxing, hockey and swimming in a busy afternoon.<br \/>\nThe young royals arrived back at Hampden Park this afternoon, where they are expected to watch athletes including English triple-jumper Greg Rutherford, Scottish hurdler Eilidh Child and Kenyan runner David Rudisha.<br \/>\nA group of soldiers who had already assembled inside the famous stadium could not help but turn and watch as Kate, dressed in a smart royal blue dress and dark blazer, took her seat alongside her husband and athletics legend Sebastian Coe.<br \/>\nEarlier, Kate visited the SportsAid charity of which she is a patron and met young athletes, some of whom are taking part in the Glasgow games.<br \/>\nThe organisation helps budding sports stars develop and train and their past successes have included Daley Thompson, Tanni Grey-Thompson and Linford Christie.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Princes Harry and William visited Coach Core, a Royal Foundation they head which helps teenagers get qualifications in coaching and leadership.<br \/>\nAfter watching Commonwealth games boxers yesterday, and giving his brother a ringside lesson in the sport, Prince Harry was pictured sparring with youngsters at the Gorbals Leisure Centre, south Glasgow, today.<br \/>\nAfter meeting the Princes, excited amateur boxer Brian Folan tweeted: \u2018Just played a game of football with some royals, took Prince Harry on the boxing pads!! #UsualTuesday\u2019<br \/>\nWilliam was cheered for his skills on the pitch after coming out tops in a dribbling competition. Meanwhile, Harry got physical sparring with some of the programme\u2019s boxing apprentices.<br \/>\nThe brothers then faced off on opposite sides of a five-a-side game, jostling each other jokingly.
