At one point her battle with the sinister eating disorder left her passed out in a hotel room in the Mediterranean.
She told Cosmopolitan magazine: “I had started losing my voice, I couldn’t sing at shows, and then I remember my manager finding me passed out.
“I thought, ‘I’m going to lose everything I love if I don’t love myself’. One day when you feel you’ve reached the end, you just say, ‘I’m not doing this any more’. “It’s sad to see how I wasted my life. I had such a great life on the outside, the Dolls were on top of the world but I was miserable on the inside. In one, the brunette beauty has gone for double denim and shows off her stunning legs in the tiny hot pants, with just a bit of cleavage, while the next is a stunning backless gown – flaunting a much more elegant side. Nicole, now 36, only started getting therapy after leaving the band in 2009 and said she was “ashamed” of keeping her addiction to binge eating and making herself sick from her family and friends.
She told the mag: “I knew it wasn’t normal or healthy. I was hurting myself through this cycle of disordered eating. It was my drug, my addiction. It’s an endless vicious cycle.”
Nicole has since overcome bulimia. But she said: “It still is hard, and thinking about it I try not to well-up… It is such a horrible paralysing disease and it was such a dark time for me.”
Nicole also told of how she overcame her shyness through shows such as X Factor. “For me all my smiles and confidence are a triumph because it came from a broken place.” She also admitted to having a “crazy romantic” relationship with F1 ace Lewis Hamilton , 29, but would never cut back on her own career to spend more time with him.

Nicole Scherzinger has revealed how her secret eight-year fight with bulimia nearly destroyed her.
