It has also appealed to the concerned authority to improve the horrible condition of the roads in Jotsoma area for the welfare of the people in general.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">A press release from JVC chairman, Mego Nagi and general secretary, P. Rino stated that with the onset of the monsoons, heavy rainfall has caused landslides affecting road transport along NH 29.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">It stated that the Jotsoma by-pass road and the approach road of Jotsoma from Science College junction to Laike road junction were maintained and repaired by the people of Jotsoma with no help from the state government.&nbsp; JVC stated that various organisations, groups and societies of Jotsoma had been voluntarily working with their own excavators and trucks spending in terms of lakhs to maintain the road for the welfare and interest of all.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">It regretted that despite the efforts, whenever heavy traffic was allowed to ply through, all the approach roads were severely damaged and rendered irreparable.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jotsoma Village Council (JVC) has cautioned vehicles plying through the village area to drive slowly as reckless driving may create havoc in the locality.
