Filmmaker Steven Spielberg and Hollywood star Tom Hanks have teamed up for \u00adseveral hits in the past \u2014 Saving Private Ryan (1998), Catch Me If You Can (2002) and The Terminal (2004).<\/div>\n
Now, they\u2019re set to come together again for an untitled thriller based on the Cold War, and if insiders are to be believed, this film \u2014 to be produced by Spielberg and industrialist Anil Ambani\u2019s company \u2014 may have an Indian connect.<\/div>\n
The director is said to be keen on shooting some parts of the film in the country. \u201cNothing is confirmed yet, but it (shooting in India) has been part of the internal \u00addiscussions,\u201d says an insider.<\/div>\n
Last year, while he was in Mumbai, Spielberg had shown great interest in using India as a shooting destination. At that time, he had even spoken about a movie that he planned to shoot in India. \u201cPart of it will take place on the India-Pakistan border in Kashmir.<\/div>\n
But we\u2019re still trying to figure out the casting, locations\u2026,\u201d he had reportedly said. The last time Spielberg filmed in India was in 1977, when he was working on Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. After this film with Hanks, Spielberg will helm another project \u2014 an adaptation of Roald Dahl\u2019s The BFG (Big Friendly Giant) \u2014 again, in partnership with Ambani\u2019s company.
